MAY DAY WEEKEND PROGRAM LAUNCH
Wichita presentation partner: mamafilm
mamafilm is a village – at the crossroads of art & advocacy – where storytellers and changemakers come together through a maternal gaze. We serve as a cultivator, creator and curator of mission-aligned stories by supporting bold, socially-conscious storytellers through creative producing, distribution consulting and community-centric exhibition. We trust in storytelling as a catalyst for connection, and believe that media literacy and representation feed our context of the world around us.
San Francisco presentation partner: Roxie Theater
The Roxie Theater, a 116 year old San Francisco landmark in the Mission District and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, brings people together to meet and connect through distinctive cinematic experiences. Guided by the passionate belief that engaging with a movie doesn’t end with the credits, we invite filmmakers, curators, entertainers and educators to interact with our audiences. We provide inspiration and opportunity for the next generation, and serve as a forum for the independent film community reflecting the spirit of the diverse Bay Area population.
Boston presentation partner: Brattle Theater
The non-profit Brattle Film Foundation has operated 72 year old Brattle Theatre since 2001. Learn more about the Brattle Film Foundation’s non-profit and fundraising activities here.
